One of Yoga's most redeeming traits is its ability to use the body to align body, mind, and spirit. Vinyasa Yoga (also referred to as "Flow Yoga") does this especially well, in the mindful linking of breath with movement. In this class, we will stretch and strengthen from the inside out, using our breath as the primary guide.
Postures move seamlessly from one to the next to generate an experience of "moving meditation." We will close with a final relaxation to emphasize a calm nervous system and to integrate the benefits of our practice. Participants in this class, as in any class offering, are encouraged to take a break whenever needed or desired to optimize feelings of enjoyment! All classes are open to all students with some yoga experience.
