One of Yoga's most redeeming traits is its ability to use the body to calm the mind. Slow Flow does this especially well, with fewer transitions between postures and greater awareness on the breath as a tool for exploration. Longer holds and a slower pace invite a deeper experience of the subtle aspects of each pose, without losing the fluidity of the "flow-style" practice. Class ends with final relaxation to calm the nervous system and invigorate the mind.
