EYO is a private yoga class taught online via Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom.
You can enjoy up to 45 minutes of personalized instruction, designed just for YOU, to meet your needs, and achieve your goals—body, mind, and spirit. For shorter classes, please contact me for rates.

I was a student of yoga for less than a year before enrolling in teacher training with native Indian Yogrishi Vishvketu, and his then-partner Chetana Torens, here in Ottawa. That was nearly 15 years ago. I've since continued my studies with longtime teacher and mentor, Sylvie Gouin. My genuine awe for the human body and enthusiasm for anatomical detail inevitably show up in my teaching. I've dedicated thousands of hours to studying yoga anatomy with no hint of stopping anytime soon!
My second passion is for writing. I recently left my position as editorial assistant at Sweat Equity Magazine —Canada's only exclusively yoga and lifestyle mag—to focus on my teaching and an upcoming book.
My Yoga Philosophy
My passion for the practice stays alive with daily commitment to getting on the mat, every single day. Sometimes that means showing up for Child's Pose or Savasana; sometimes it's for journalling and introspection, and sometimes it's for a full-on physical session of Power Yoga. That's the beauty of yoga! No matter what your needs are, yoga meets you there to make life just a little bit better. (And more often than not, it's a whole lot better.)
Other Important Information
Each class can be paid for in full before confirming your class appointment. Refunds are not available, but cancellations can be made with 24 hours of via text, email, or Skype, Zoom, or Facebook messaging. Payments can be made through PayPal or bank transfer (you can use your PayPal account, echeck, or credit card to process your payment; you don't need a PayPal account to check out). Once you complete your intake form and health questionnaire, we will arrange a time to meet, and you will receive a welcome email and payable invoice from me!
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is online yoga for?
EYO is perfect for anyone who wished to enjoy a live teacher in the comfort of their own home. Getting to a class isn't easy, and depending on your schedule, it might not be possible. With EYO, you can enjoy a personalized yoga experience wherever you go.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that allow for a full range of motion (yoga pants or shorts and a fitted top or other gym-style clothing). Clothes that are too baggy can be a distraction, and it's best to do yoga in bare feet.
Do I need any yoga props?
To practice yoga, all you really need is you and a mat. Your yoga mat is a sacred tool for doing yoga. If you have additional props such as a blanket, a bolster, a strap, or a block, you might want to have them within reach. Based on your customized class design, I'll let you know ahead of time what you might need.
What is Skype?
Skype is an online service that enables chats, messenger, voice calls, and video calls on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smart phone. A basic account is free. Be sure that your account is set-up and that you have tested that it is working properly (video and audio) prior to first session. Learn more here.
When should I arrive for class?
To avoid causing any undue stress, I recommend logging on 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class to settle in for a soothing practice.
How long is each class?
Skype yoga sessions offer up to 45 minutes of practice. Allow an hour, to give yourself a little cushion before and after. Shorter class times are available, as sessions are customized to meet your needs! Please contact me for shorter class rates.
What if I’m not very flexible?
People lacking flexibility should be first in line for a class! As we age, strength + flexibility become more difficult (and more important) to maintain. EYO offers a safe and challenging environment to increase your level of physical fitness at your own pace. I always advise students to listen to their body throughout the class and take cues to modify postures in a way that’s right for you. If you're unsure about something, just ask! That's the beauty of one-on-one classes.
What if I have injuries or limitations?
Please let me know on your health waver form or before your session if something new crops up. It's best to obtain a physician’s approval before engaging in any physical activity, including yoga.
What does the program cost?
One 4-Week Yoga Series is $230. A single class if $65. All taxes are included, and prepayment is required.
How do I schedule my Special Package sessions?

Do you offer a refund if I don’t use all four of my sessions?
EYO does not issue refunds for unused sessions. Sessions that are not conducted prior to the expiration date (6 weeks from chosen start date) are considered forfeited.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
Because your appointment time has been reserved especially for you, we require 24-hours notice when canceling an appointment. Given proper notice, you are free to reschedule with no charge. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hours notice are charged at the full non-refundable price.
I love attending Eryn’s classes. The classes are challenging and her flow sequences are always fun and informative. She has a great enthusiasm for yoga that she infuses in each class.
